Ho developed a custom image preview source feature for the lowcoder-org/lowcoder repository, enabling image previews to be loaded from a separate URL than the main image source. This enhancement improved the content authoring experience by allowing more flexible delivery of preview assets, which can support future CDN optimizations. Ho implemented the feature using React and TypeScript, modifying the image rendering pipeline to decouple preview and main image sources. The work was thoroughly documented with clear, traceable commits, ensuring maintainability and readiness for QA. Over the month, Ho focused on front-end development, demonstrating depth in JavaScript and cross-functional collaboration.
