During January 2025, Hoan focused on backend development and data processing for the walt-id/waltid-identity repository, addressing a critical bug in the MDoc request path parsing logic. By refining how the system extracts namespaces and last path segments for data element requests, Hoan improved the reliability of API integration and reduced the risk of misrouted data. Working primarily in Kotlin, Hoan’s solution enhanced the robustness of the identity module’s data flow, ensuring correct handling of MDoc requests. Although no new features were released, this work laid a solid foundation for future enhancements by strengthening the module’s core data processing mechanisms.
