Worked on the langchain-ai/langchain repository to enhance the Confluence Document Loader by introducing a configurable keep_newlines parameter to the process_pages method. This backend feature, implemented in Python, allows users to control whether newline characters are preserved during Confluence page processing, addressing formatting issues and improving data fidelity for downstream ingestion workflows. The change was developed in response to user feedback and included thorough documentation to support integration into broader processing pipelines. The work demonstrated full stack development skills, with attention to API usability and alignment with user needs, laying the groundwork for more flexible and accurate document ingestion processes.
