Holden Folk contributed to the strapi/design-system repository by enhancing the Badge component to provide more consistent and scalable status indications in React-based front end applications. Using TypeScript, Holden introduced new Badge variants that improved visual differentiation and usability, addressing the need for a unified status display. As part of this work, Holden deprecated the older Status component, guiding developers toward a single, reusable Badge-based solution for status representation. The changes streamlined maintenance and aligned with design-system governance, offering clear migration guidance. Over the course of the month, Holden focused on feature development, demonstrating depth in component architecture and design-system evolution.
