During February 2026, Holen focused on improving the stability of the embedding service within the xerrors/Yuxi-Know repository. Addressing reliability issues under load, Holen identified that large batch sizes were causing frequent 400 errors during embedding operations. By reducing the batch size from 40 to 10, Holen delivered a targeted fix that made error handling more predictable and increased throughput. This change, implemented in Python and leveraging backend development and asynchronous programming skills, resulted in a more stable embedding workflow. The work contributed to better adherence to service level agreements and enhanced the overall user experience by reducing error rates.
