Worked on the ni/install-systemlink-enterprise repository to enhance AWS S3 integration by implementing IAM role-based authentication and EC2 metadata usage for Dremio data sources. This approach replaced static AWS access keys, reducing secret exposure and aligning with modern security best practices. Updated Helm templates and service configurations to support IAM-based authentication, enabling zero-key deployments and improving access control across AWS services. The work leveraged YAML for configuration management and incorporated DevOps practices to propagate changes throughout deployment templates and source code. These updates established a more secure and maintainable foundation for AWS integrations within the enterprise deployment environment.
