Hongtao focused on enhancing the erc7824/nitrolite repository by upgrading core frontend dependencies to improve security, performance, and stability. Using JavaScript and npm, Hongtao managed dependency updates for libraries such as viem, lucide-react, and tailwind-merge, addressing vulnerabilities and ensuring compatibility with modern tooling. The work included implementing Snyk-driven upgrade pull requests and validating changes to reduce the vulnerability surface and maintenance burden. These upgrades improved contract call efficiency and UI consistency, particularly through multicall batching enhancements and CSS fixes. The project benefited from clearer upgrade paths and reduced risk for future updates, reflecting a methodical approach to dependency management.
