In July 2025, Honore C. developed accessible color theming for the likec4/likec4 repository, focusing on enhancing text readability across diverse backgrounds. Leveraging JavaScript and TypeScript, Honore implemented APCA-based text contrast calculations using the chroma-js library, enabling dynamic selection of text colors to ensure optimal contrast. The work included updating the application’s theme logic to consistently apply the new contrast model and adding automated tests to validate both the color calculations and theming behavior. This feature addressed accessibility requirements, improved user experience, and demonstrated a strong grasp of accessibility, color theory, and front-end UI development within a modern codebase.
