Worked on the janhq/jan repository to deliver comprehensive Korean localization across the core user interface, including chat, assistants, logs, and system settings. Focused on front end development using JavaScript, the work involved creating and integrating multiple localization JSON files to support Korean language accessibility. Developed a localization scaffolding with files such as hub.json and setup.json, streamlining the process for future multilingual expansions. Consolidated translations into common.json and extended provider and tool messages, enhancing consistency throughout the application. The efforts centered on building a robust localization pipeline, improving internationalization readiness, and enabling faster rollout of additional languages for global users.
