During April 2025, Hopkins contributed to the DataDog/documentation repository by maintaining and improving the Aurora documentation. Hopkins identified and fixed a broken Autodiscovery hyperlink, updating the reference to ensure users are directed to the correct setup instructions for Aurora DB clusters. This work involved careful validation and editing of Markdown files, with a focus on documentation accuracy and user experience. Hopkins collaborated with content and engineering teams to ensure the change was properly tracked and communicated through Git. The update enhanced the reliability of internal documentation links, reducing user confusion and supporting ongoing efforts to maintain high-quality technical documentation.
