Worked on security hardening and quality improvements for the openclaw/openclaw repository, focusing on backend development and testing using TypeScript. Delivered a targeted patch to mitigate prototype pollution in account path validation by replacing the in operator with Object.hasOwn, ensuring only own properties are considered during validation. This approach reduced the risk of prototype-chain vulnerabilities, particularly in multi-tenant environments, and improved the project’s auditability for security compliance. Automated tests were added to verify that prototype properties are not misinterpreted as explicit account configurations, further strengthening regression coverage and documentation alignment for the patch within the openclaw/openclaw codebase.
