Worked on the LimeSurvey/LimeSurvey repository to enhance the survey module’s user input guidance by introducing a placeholder attribute to the Short freetext question type. This feature provided a clear visual cue for respondents, clarifying expected input and improving overall survey usability. The implementation involved frontend development with a focus on user experience design, integrating JavaScript and PHP to ensure seamless functionality within the existing application. Utilized XML for configuration and Git for version control, contributing collaboratively through code review. The work addressed a specific usability gap, supporting better data quality and reducing user errors during survey completion in LimeSurvey.
