Worked on stabilizing the LibertyGlobal/WPEWebKit codebase by addressing a critical maintenance issue related to screen HDR support. Focused on removing the screen HDR settings API through a targeted revert, this effort ensured the product remained aligned with updated requirements and reduced the risk of misconfiguration. The approach involved careful use of Git’s revert workflow, thorough code review, and debugging of HDR-related logic. Utilizing C++ and YAML, the work maintained system behavior and minimized the maintenance surface by eliminating unnecessary configuration. No new features were introduced during this period, with the primary contribution being a major bug fix through API management.
