Askill Solheim developed an interactive geospatial demonstration for the highcharts/highcharts repository, focusing on visualizing the top 100 US cities by population. Leveraging JavaScript and Highcharts Maps with OpenStreetMap tiles, Askill implemented bubble-size encoding to represent population data, along with pan and zoom navigation for enhanced user interaction. The demo was designed to accelerate customer onboarding by providing a reusable, data-driven visualization that highlights real-time interaction and scalability. Throughout the project, Askill concentrated on performance optimization and user experience improvements for large datasets, demonstrating depth in data visualization and front end development while addressing practical onboarding challenges for customers.
