During July 2025, H. Sato focused on enhancing the giftee/design-system repository by addressing a critical UI regression affecting modal behavior. Sato identified and resolved an issue where modals would reset to the top of the viewport upon opening, which disrupted user experience. By applying targeted CSS changes, specifically utilizing the position: fixed property, Sato ensured that modals consistently maintained their intended position across various usage scenarios. This work demonstrated strong front end development and CSS debugging skills, with clear documentation provided in Japanese to support cross-team understanding. No new features were introduced, emphasizing a depth of focus on quality and stability.
