Developed and delivered the Jira Plugin Authentication Method Selector feature for the langgenius/dify-official-plugins repository, enabling users to choose between Bearer and Basic authentication methods through a token_type selector. This enhancement aligned the Jira plugin’s authentication model with that of the Dify Confluence plugin, promoting consistency across related tools. The implementation, written in Python and focused on API integration and authentication, expanded compatibility for both Jira Cloud and Server environments by supporting multiple token-based authentication methods. All changes were tracked through a single, well-documented commit referencing related pull requests and issues, ensuring maintainability and traceability for future development.
