During December 2024, Gethorz focused on upgrading the Go toolchain within the piplabs/story-geth repository’s build pipeline. The work involved updating build checksums and version strings from Go 1.23.3 to 1.23.4, ensuring the project remained aligned with the latest stable Go release. By managing build system updates and maintaining version control, Gethorz improved build stability and reproducibility, which helps reduce maintenance risk and onboarding friction. The engineering effort centered on Go toolchain management and release engineering, with no major bugs addressed during this period.
