Developed and delivered end-to-end integration of the cotp TOTP/HOTP authenticator as a new Gentoo package within the microcai/gentoo-zh repository, focusing on both stable and live ebuilds. The work included creating the app-crypt/cotp package, implementing an optional converter feature to support multiple input formats, and updating overlay configuration files such as metadata.xml and overlay.toml to streamline installation via Gentoo overlays. Leveraging skills in Gentoo Ebuild, Linux, and Rust, the developer automated repository updates and ensured clear, commit-driven delivery. This effort reduced deployment friction for users managing authentication tools in Gentoo environments and demonstrated disciplined package management practices.
