During February 2025, Huchet focused on enhancing the map-making validation workflow in the qubicsoft/qubic repository by introducing targeted debugging hooks and test instrumentation. Working primarily in Python and YAML, Huchet implemented early exit points and print-based diagnostics within Qfmm.py, enabling faster iteration and more efficient identification of issues during development. The work included a configuration update in params.yml to switch the instrument parameter from 'DB' to 'UWB' for testing purposes. This development and debugging effort, while not user-facing, improved the internal validation process and maintained clear traceability, with all changes documented and flagged for later separation before production deployment.
