Worked on the IfcOpenShell/IfcOpenShell repository to address a critical issue in IFC file processing by fixing the handling of IFC schema version sequences. Applied C++ development skills to ensure that IFC_SCHEMA_SEQ and IFC_SCHEMA_NAME were correctly matched to current schemas, reducing parsing errors and preventing downstream failures. Enhanced the getting_started.rst documentation to reflect these changes, improving onboarding for both developers and users. Focused on software architecture and documentation to stabilize user workflows and reduce support inquiries. All updates were captured in a single commit, enabling immediate validation and release readiness while maintaining reliability for users processing IFC files.
