During April 2026, contributed to the alltheplaces/alltheplaces repository by enhancing the WSP web scraper to accurately process server-rendered HTML for the en-gl locale. This work involved updating the Scrapy-based parser in Python to extract office location data more reliably, addressing previous data gaps and improving downstream analytics and search functionality. The enhancement focused on refining data extraction logic for server-rendered content, ensuring higher data accuracy for the en-gl URL. The implementation was delivered in a single commit, reviewed through continuous integration, and incorporated automated code quality checks, reflecting a disciplined approach to maintainability and collaborative development practices within the project.
