During the month, work focused on developing the NUI Accessibility Highlight Overlay feature for the Samsung/TizenFX repository. This involved implementing a custom overlay component in C# with interop support, designed to enhance accessibility by allowing developers to add and reset highlight overlays across user interface elements. The solution exposed a public API and interop methods, enabling precise control over the overlay’s position and size. By creating a reusable component, the work improved accessibility coverage and consistency for applications built with NUI. The technical approach leveraged skills in C#, C++, accessibility standards, and interop, emphasizing maintainability and ease of integration.
