Worked on the Freem11/divego repository to optimize data retrieval and frontend data access for dive-related information. Focused on refactoring backend logic to use Supabase geometry-based RPCs, which improved the efficiency of fetching dive sites, heat points, and dive shops. Updated the TypeScript client code to align with the new RPC endpoints and revised function names, while also removing unused imports and dead code for better maintainability. Leveraged skills in API integration, backend development, and database management to enhance scalability and frontend responsiveness, delivering a more streamlined and performant data access pattern without introducing new bugs during the process.
