Developed a comprehensive Performance Testing and Resource Profiling Suite for the basedhardware/omi repository, focusing on memory management and battery usage across multiple app states. Leveraging Flutter and Dart, the suite introduced memory leak detection, battery drain estimation, and regression analysis using RSS-based profiling, with detailed reporting in JSON, CSV, and Markdown formats. Integration testing was orchestrated through a unified test runner supporting continuous runs and granular controls. The work included lifecycle stress tests, frame timing metrics, and enhancements for reliability and portability, such as Bash 3.2 compatibility and macOS support, enabling targeted optimizations and faster feedback on real devices.
