Huzefa Kagdi modernized the CI/CD infrastructure and dependency management for the priceline/design-system repository, focusing on stability, speed, and test coverage. He upgraded the CI/CD workflows to support Node.js 20, aligning the build process with current runtime standards and reducing build failures. By migrating pcln-icons to styled-system v5, he enabled richer theming and improved consistency with design tokens. Huzefa also refreshed snapshot tests in JavaScript and TypeScript to accurately reflect UI changes from the dependency upgrades, reducing flaky tests and improving validation. His work consolidated maintenance efforts, ensuring smoother future releases and greater reliability across the design system.
