Addressed a critical issue where executables failed to run on systems lacking the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable by updating the build configuration to bundle the required MSVCR files. Modified the pyproject.toml configuration, utilizing TOML syntax, to set include_msvcr to true, ensuring broader compatibility for end users. The work centered on build configuration and deployment processes rather than feature development, demonstrating attention to cross-platform packaging challenges and a methodical approach to resolving environment-specific build errors in Python-based projects.
