Worked on the canonical/test_observer repository to automate SSL certificate provisioning and domain management for API and frontend ingress. Integrated service-hostname into the Nginx configuration, enabling LEGO-based TLS certificate generation and renewal, which reduced manual intervention in certificate handling. Leveraged Terraform to align domain routing with the updated ingress setup, streamlining deployment processes and improving security. The approach utilized Infrastructure as Code principles, focusing on HCL and Nginx configuration to ensure reliable, repeatable deployments. This work enhanced deployment reliability and reduced time-to-production by automating critical infrastructure tasks, demonstrating a strong grasp of CI/CD practices and modern DevOps tooling.
