Over two months, contributed to openclaw/openclaw and rolldown/rolldown by focusing on backend reliability and developer experience. Addressed a crash in openclaw’s cron isolated agent by implementing defensive error handling in JavaScript and Rust, ensuring continuous operation through graceful downgrading and explicit warning logs. In rolldown, improved watch-mode stability on Linux, automated rebuilds for missing imports, and enhanced cross-platform path handling using Node.js and refined regex techniques. Updated tests and documentation to support these changes, reducing flaky behavior and maintenance overhead. Demonstrated a methodical approach to debugging, file system monitoring, and full stack development across both repositories.
