During November 2025, Hyfloac developed and contributed a new Homebrew formula for the libdecor library to the homebrew-core repository, enabling client-side decorations for Wayland applications on Linux systems such as Fedora Silverblue. This work involved authoring Ruby-based packaging scripts, ensuring compatibility with Homebrew’s CI workflows, and aligning with cross-distribution Linux UI goals. By integrating libdecor, Hyfloac addressed the need for improved UI consistency and enhanced user experience in Wayland environments. The project demonstrated depth in Linux development, package management, and Homebrew formula creation, resulting in a robust, maintainable addition to the Homebrew ecosystem without reported bugs.

For 2025-11, delivered Libdecor: New client-side decorations library for Wayland as a new Homebrew formula (libdecor 0.2.4) in homebrew-core, enabling client-side decorations for Wayland apps and improving the Linux UI experience (notably Fedora Silverblue).
