During May 2025, Hyhe contributed to the odoo/odoo repository by addressing a targeted bug in the stock module, focusing on the logic for merging stock movements. Hyhe resolved an issue where negative stock moves failed to merge correctly with positive moves when the destination location was determined by a rule, which previously led to inaccuracies in inventory reconciliation. The solution involved applying Odoo’s rule-based destination handling and refining backend logic using Python. This work improved the accuracy of stock management processes and demonstrated a solid understanding of Odoo’s inventory framework, with depth in backend development and practical problem-solving within business workflows.
