During December 2024, Hao Zhang delivered GCP infrastructure provisioning and deployment support for the Azure/telescope repository, focusing on enabling Terraform-based management of GCP resources such as networks and GKE clusters. Hao designed and implemented reusable Terraform modules and updated CI/CD pipelines and scenario definitions using YAML and Bash, allowing automated GCP deployments for performance evaluations. This work provided a scalable, reproducible environment for cloud performance assessments and expanded the project’s cross-cloud testing capabilities. By integrating GCP support into Telescope, Hao laid the foundation for future multi-cloud infrastructure, demonstrating depth in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
