During October 2025, Anish developed a user-facing Course Data Availability Banner for the ScottyLabs/cmucourses repository, addressing the need for transparent communication about course data updates. Leveraging React, Next.js, and TypeScript, Anish implemented a header banner that informs users when course data may be temporarily unavailable due to external data source updates, and included a direct link to the Schedule of Classes for further reference. The work involved refining banner messaging for clarity, correcting grammar, and specifying that Spring 2026 instructor and room details are affected. This feature improved user awareness and set accurate expectations regarding data reliability on the platform.
