Worked on enhancing cross-platform compatibility for the ggml-org/llama.cpp repository by implementing NetBSD Cache Directory Support. Focused on updating the cache directory retrieval logic in C++ to enable reliable builds on NetBSD, this work addressed platform-specific inconsistencies and improved overall build reliability. The technical approach involved modifying existing cross-platform code to recognize and handle NetBSD environments, ensuring that cache directories are correctly identified and utilized during the build process. Emphasizing cross-platform development and C++ proficiency, the changes prepared the codebase for NetBSD testing and continuous integration, reducing future maintenance overhead and supporting broader operating system compatibility.
