During July 2025, work focused on enhancing the ncc-erp-ams repository by delivering asset rental date filtering and a new start date field for asset rentals. This involved implementing precise filtering by rental date range, adding a dedicated startRentalDate field to the assets table, and updating related APIs and models to support the new data structure and date formatting. The changes, developed using PHP and leveraging backend development and database management skills, included a database migration to introduce the new field. These improvements streamlined asset lifecycle tracking, enabled more accurate billing windows, and reduced manual intervention in rental workflow processes.
