Worked on stabilizing the file upload pipeline in the starfederation/datastar repository by addressing a critical bug affecting upload signal handling. Focused on simplifying the logic for updating signal values and strengthening checks for existing signals, the solution ensured that signals were consistently and reliably updated throughout the upload process. This TypeScript-based improvement reduced the risk of race conditions and stale states, directly enhancing data integrity and minimizing customer-facing upload errors. The changes also improved the maintainability and readability of the frontend codebase, making future testing and updates more straightforward while leveraging strong frontend development and TypeScript skills.
