Worked on dependency maintenance for the ansible/ansible-lint repository, focusing on enhancing security, stability, and long-term maintainability. Upgraded the ruamel.yaml library to version 0.18.11 across all configuration files and updated related development and testing dependencies to their latest compatible versions. This work, implemented using Python and YAML, aimed to reduce security risks and improve the reliability of YAML parsing within CI/CD pipelines. No major bug fixes were required during this period, as the primary goal was to ensure safer, more reliable releases by keeping dependencies current and supporting smoother integration with downstream tools and workflows.
