February 2025 monthly summary focused on delivering end-to-end Istio deployment enablement in the OCI factory, combined with expanded observability for production environments. Highlights include new components for Istio CNI installation, ztunnel onboarding, and Pilot service configuration, along with a Prometheus metric for systemd virtualization detection.

January 2025: Delivered Kiali Observability Tool Integration for canonical/oci-factory to improve system visibility and operational readiness. Provided configuration files, contact notifications, comprehensive usage/debugging/deployment documentation, and image/source/release details for Kiali rock. This release enables proactive monitoring, faster debugging, and clearer release traceability.

Month 2024-12 focused on observability enhancements for canonical/oci-factory. Delivered Metrics Proxy rock integration enabling built-in monitoring and operator guidance, with configuration for contacts, docs, and image details. All work delivered via commit faeab525aaf18cb6706e87eab804c924b7354142 (feat: Add metrics-proxy rock #267). No major bugs fixed this month. Overall impact: improved observability, proactive issue detection, and smoother operator onboarding within the OCI Factory workflow.
