Worked on the Shopify/rails repository to update API documentation in response to recent ActiveRecord API changes. Focused on aligning documentation with the new location of insert and upsert APIs, which now reside under ActiveRecord::Relation instead of ActiveRecord::Persistence. Used Ruby on Rails and Markdown to revise technical references, ensuring that all API links accurately reflected the refactored codebase. Delivered a targeted hotfix to correct outdated links, reducing confusion for developers and improving onboarding by clarifying the current API surface. The work emphasized disciplined, traceable documentation updates, supporting a smoother transition for teams adapting to the updated ActiveRecord structure.
