Worked on the rdkcentral/firebolt-certification-suite repository to enhance log quality and observability by delivering a feature that improves log output formatting. Focused on code refactoring and logging in JavaScript, the work involved removing unnecessary whitespace, excessive spaces, and trailing newlines from response strings to ensure cleaner and more consistent logs. String handling was refined to robustly replace carriage returns and line feeds, resulting in deterministic log content across different environments. These improvements increased log readability and parseability, supporting faster issue diagnosis and operational insights. The approach emphasized maintainable code and reliable logging practices without introducing new bugs or regressions.
