During June 2025, Icell worked on the coinbase/x402 repository, focusing on backend and API development using Go. He implemented a configurable timeout option for the facilitator HTTP client, addressing the issue of indefinite waits in unreliable network conditions. By introducing this feature, he improved the system’s resilience and reduced the risk of hanging requests. Icell also developed comprehensive tests to validate both the timeout behavior and the handling of timeout errors, ensuring robust error management.
