During July 2025, Iceyes worked on the uwblueprint/humane-society repository, focusing on a comprehensive refactor of the data model to support task-level workflows and analytics. They redesigned the schema by renaming activities to tasks and activity_types to task_templates, introducing an enum for task_type to improve data integrity and consistency. Using TypeScript and SQL, Iceyes created database migrations to safely implement these changes, ensuring a smooth transition for the backend. This work established a unified, task-oriented terminology across the codebase, laying a solid foundation for future analytics and reporting while demonstrating depth in backend development and database migration skills.
