Worked on the osmandapp/OsmAnd repository to deliver Italian localization and accessibility improvements, focusing on extending Italian language support across the core user interface and astronomy-related features. Leveraged XML and the Weblate translation workflow to increase translation coverage to 96.5 percent, translating 5727 out of 5932 strings. The work emphasized internationalization readiness and enhanced usability for Italian-speaking users, with all localization changes tracked through traceable commits. No bug fixes were recorded during this period, as efforts centered on refining the user experience and preparing the application for broader adoption in the Italian market through improved accessibility and comprehensive translation.
