During January 2025, Igbanam focused on configuration management within the simpledotorg/simple-server repository, addressing a critical support routing issue for Ethiopian users. By updating the .env.ET environment variable file, Igbanam ensured that users in Ethiopia are directed to the correct support group URL and phone number, reducing misrouted inquiries and improving first-contact resolution. The work involved careful management of environment-specific configuration files and version control practices to maintain auditability. Although the scope was limited to a single bug fix rather than feature development, the targeted change demonstrated attention to detail and a solid grasp of environment variable management and configuration workflows.
