Developed a robust CI/CD automation workflow for the SoftDevSix/ArgosUI repository, focusing on streamlining the deployment process through GitHub Actions and Docker. The work centered on implementing an automated pipeline that builds and publishes Docker images directly to Docker Hub, effectively removing manual deployment steps and enhancing both speed and reliability. The approach included refactoring deployment actions to target the production branch and transitioning from a development to a production-grade Dockerfile, ensuring production-ready image builds. Utilizing YAML for workflow configuration, the project emphasized deployment repeatability and operational efficiency, with primary efforts dedicated to feature delivery rather than bug resolution during this period.
