The work involved integrating DRM configuration options, migrating the token flow to signed URL tokens, and refining deployment logic to ensure production readiness. Using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React, the developer enhanced user notifications to reflect DRM usage and implemented comprehensive error handling for invalid DRM IDs. The solution enforced DRM restrictions, such as disallowing DRM for audio-only files, and resolved technical challenges like iframe loading conflicts with Chromecast, resulting in a reliable, production-ready feature.
