Igor Branco enhanced the openedx/frontend-app-learning repository by delivering a feature that improved the internationalization workflow. He updated the frontend build dependency to enable extraction of a broader set of translation messages at build time, streamlining the localization process and increasing translation coverage. This work focused on build tools and dependency management, leveraging JavaScript and i18n tooling to optimize the application’s readiness for multilingual support. Although the project scope was limited to a single feature over one month, Igor’s contribution addressed a clear business need by reducing localization cycle time and supporting a more robust, scalable approach to internationalization in the codebase.
