Worked on modernizing the CI/CD pipeline for the microsoft/qdk repository, focusing on improving stability and future compatibility. The main contribution involved migrating the pipeline to a Windows-2025 image to ensure ongoing support for .NET 6, addressing end-of-life risks. This included creating a Windows-2025 1ES image and integrating it into the Azure Pipelines DevTools 1ES Hosted Pool, as well as updating the SDLSources stage to reference the new image. The work was implemented using YAML and leveraged Azure Pipelines and DevOps practices, resulting in a more robust deployment process and laying groundwork for faster, more reliable releases.
