Worked on the dotCMS/core repository to enhance reliability and data consistency for published content. Focused on backend development using Java, the work involved disabling caching during LIVE rendering to ensure users always see the most current content, directly addressing issues with stale data. Improved the robustness of content copy operations by validating Multitree structures before copying and introducing a default variantId to handle null or empty inputs. Integration and unit testing were expanded to cover these scenarios, reducing the risk of errors such as 404s or outdated content. Emphasized API development and caching strategies to support predictable LIVE experiences.
