During the month, contributed to the wevm/viem repository by implementing GIWA testnet preconfiguration support. This work involved defining a new chain configuration with experimental preconfirmation timing and dedicated RPC URLs, streamlining the setup process for testnet environments. Using TypeScript and leveraging blockchain and smart contract development skills, extended the chain configuration model to enable more flexible preconfiguration flows. The changes improved the reliability of continuous integration pipelines and reduced onboarding friction for GIWA testnet users. All updates were thoroughly documented through commit messages and aligned with project pull request conventions, enhancing traceability and facilitating collaborative code review processes.
