Worked on the heroui-inc/heroui repository to address a theming issue in the Theme Plugin, focusing on front-end development with TypeScript and JavaScript. Delivered a targeted bug fix by introducing default values for custom theme properties, ensuring that undefined values no longer caused errors during theme merges. Implemented a fallback mechanism to base theme properties for colors and layout, which improved the robustness of the theming system and prevented runtime errors when custom properties were missing. This approach enhanced both developer experience and end-user stability, contributing to more reliable theming integration and maintainable code within the project’s theming infrastructure.
